What do psychic mediums do and can their guidance be trusted?

This was my fear when I “came out” as a psychic medium because of this hangover belief (and still prevalent) that the work of psychic mediums is all hooky spooky, witch-like and full of spells.

My fear, that I would be judged, feared even. And I get it. It can seem kind of strange that someone who you have never met can tell you things about yourself, your life, your current situation that they could never have known because they do not know you and just met you. Or connect with a passed loved one and tell you information about that person or animal, that they could have no way of knowing. Again, because they just met you.
